Young Women Activities ~ June, July, August

Our focus from now through the end of August is on unifying our group, building friendships, and recovering from the pandemic that limited our interactions so much. We tried to plan activities for Thursdays when *most* people are available; we avoided the holiday weekends.

Activities are at 7:00 pm unless notified otherwise.

June 17 - Yard games (in charge: Phebe, Karla) - Meet at the Reudter home
June 24 - Swimming at the Gunnerson family pool (in charge: Cate, Sara) - Meet at the Gunnerson home
July 1 - NO ACTIVITY
July 8 - younger class - Outdoor movie night (in charge: Korie, Karla)
July 8-10 - older class - Stake Youth Conference "Magnify" (9 a.m. - 7 p.m.)
July 15 - Weeding/service (in charge: Bridget, Nicole)
July 22 - NO ACTIVITY
July 29-31 - CAMP (see the email sent June 11 for details)
August 5 - NO ACTIVITY
August 12 - Cherry Hill (in charge: Ayla, Amy)
August 19 - Combined activity with the Young Men (river rafting or boating, TBA depending on water levels)

Of course, everything is subject to change or cancelation, and spontaneous gatherings on other days may take place; watch for text updates throughout the summer!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE

 STAKE YOUTH SUMMER SUPER ACTIVITY

July 8th, 9th & 10th

Requests for donations have been made for our Stake Service Activities for the Hopi Indian Reservation.  Volunteers are needed to make quilts of any size that are pre-sewn, pre-bound, with the edges finished and ready for the youth to tie and complete.  They would like quilts to be dropped off at Troy and Carol Nielsen's home (985 Lillywood Lane, NSL) by Friday, July 3rd.

If quilting volunteers would like to attend the Youth Super Activity on the day their quilt is being tied, we would LOVE the quilter to come to the West Building at 10 am to help teach and assist the youth to tie their quilt on July 8, 9 or 10th!

If needed, quilting volunteers could submit a request for financial reimbursement for some of the material cost to their ward financial clerk (please have them indicate: Stake Youth Summer Service Quilt).

They are also in need of:

FLEECE BLANKETS

1 1/2 yards fleece fabric (thick) Larger sizes also welcome!

AND

HYGIENE KITS

(regular sizes preferred)

Sanitary wipes

Hygiene items and fleece fabric can be dropped off in the Relief Society Room at any church in the stake
