Young Women ~ March

 Welcome March!

We are so LUCKY to be part of Young Women! We recently discussed how blessed we are to be part of a worldwide organization of youth that shares common goals, values, and standards. We are a team, we have each other's backs, and we love each other! Such LUCK!

In a fun twist, our March schedule is a crazy mess... 🤣 Please note the following changes to our "regular" YW plans. Also, please pay close attention to the notes at the bottom of this email... So many fun things are coming up this spring and summer! Thanks!

SUNDAYS

Thank you to Charley Alexander, Taylor Remington, and McKinley Ulmer for leading our discussions about the Savior and eternal marriage in February. These lessons were excellent and gave us hope, faith, and great perspective!

The following young women have volunteered to teach our Sunday lessons this month. Thank you!

  • March 13 is Ward Conference, and the Stake Young Women's Presidency will be teaching our classes.
  • March 27, TAYLOR REMINGTON will teach "Who Am I, and Who Does God Want Me to Become?" to all of the Young Women.

Also:

  • JULIANN SOUTHAM and BRIDGET MOULTON are responsible for ushering during sacrament meetings this month.
  • Youth class presidencies meet every Sunday for about 15 minutes immediately after church.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE

  • As your daughter registers for classes for the 2022-23 school year, be sure she leaves a spot in her schedule for SEMINARY (grades 9-12). I know seminary is a critical and worthwhile opportunity to learn more about our Savior, Jesus Christ, and grow a testimony of His restored gospel. I have met many of the teachers at the SDJH and WXHS Seminaries, and they are AMAZING! Please encourage your daughters to take seminary, and please take a moment to log into your Church account and register your youth for seminary TODAY!
  • It's not too late to register for For the Strength of Youth (FSY) Conference. The Bountiful Orchard Stake is inviting youth to attend together at the University of Utah June 20-25, but youth are welcome to register for and attend any open session available anywhere anytime all summer. A $75 fee will be due when you register. Sign up for FSY TODAY! Don't miss this amazing opportunity!!
  • Watch for more information from our local leaders about the upcoming "Tabernacle Experience." Firesides, devotionals, trainings, Passover dinner, and other events are planned to make this unique experience a significant part of our Old Testament study.
