Sister Rachel Jones from the Orchard 6th ward is discussing caring for our health through using herbs in our cooking. She will also talk about planting them properly.
Rachel Jones has a Masters degree of Nutrition from Berkeley and was a professor of Nutrition at the University of Utah. She developed Crohn’s Disease in her early twenties and chose not to take medication, changed her diet and lifestyle and is living a healthy life. She worked at the University of Utah Brain Institute with Navy Seals around PTSD using nutrition to heal.

Special Needs Dinner is May 19th.
It is for 400 people. Our ward is in charge and we have been asked to provide dessert. We will send a sign-up sheet around for volunteers to bring 2-3 dozen cookies each and well as volunteers to help at the activity.
