SUNDAYS
THANK YOU to Marcie Mortensen, McKenna Webster, and Lizzy Mitchell for leading great discussions about how the Savior can help us overcome our fears and how we can build the kingdom of God. Our Young Women are great teachers and leaders, and I always enjoy how much all of our friends contribute to the lessons. AYLA HAMBLIN will discuss "How Can I Show Greater Love to Those around Me?" with all of the Young Women on April 23.
This week, April 9, is Easter Sunday. Our 12 p.m. church service will be a one-hour sacrament meeting focused on the life and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Young Women are presenting a musical number, "He Sent His Son," as part of this special meeting. We practiced last Sunday, and we have sent out a recording of the song to everyone to sing along with this week. If possible, please have your daughter join us for a brief rehearsal in the Primary Room at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday. The arrangement of this song is so beautiful, and we want everyone to feel comfortable with their parts. And, finally, PLEASE INVITE FRIENDS AND FAMILY to join our ward in this special Easter service! I know they will feel the spirit!
