  • October 27th - Tithing Declaration has begun. Sign up sheets are posted on the door of the Clerk’s office. You may also schedule an appointment by contacting Bart Hamblin (801-655-3523). Prior to meeting with the Bishop, we invite you to review your donation history by logging into your account at churchofjesuschrist.org and clicking on 'Donations' in the menu. Then select 'Donation History.' To request a paper copy of your donation history, please stop by the Clerk's Office.

  • Sun, October 27th - Prelude to Christmas rehearsals begin.  Rehearsals are every Sunday at the Monarch Building (165 Monarch Drive)  and run until the performances on Sunday, December 15th.
    Orchestra (High School age up): 6:30-8:00
    Choir (High School age up): 8:00-9:30
    Youth Choir Fridays starting November 7 (Late Elementary through Jr High): 4:00-5:30

  • Wed, October 30th 6:00-8:00 PM - Neighborhood Fall Festival combined with the 5th and 6th Wards at the Stake Center.  Food, Spook Alley, Photo Booth, Face Paint, and Trunk-or-Treat.  See flier here. Parking instructions here.

  • Tuesdays Sep 3rd- Nov 13th 10:00-11:30am - Stake Book of Mormon Class, taught by Tina Petersen.  In person at the Stake Center, or streaming on YouTube (live, and available for a short time afterward).  $30 total, $2.50/class.  See flier to register.

  • Wed, November 6th 10:00 AM - Ward Temple Day

  • Fri, November 8th 7:00 PM - Ward Temple Day

  • Each Saturday 8:00 am Sabbath Day Preparation Church Cleaning Assignment. Please find someone to trade with or cover your shift if you can't make it.

  • INTRODUCTION TO LIFE HELP

    • The Church of Jesus Christ web homepage includes a link to various libraries containing information about the Church along with the documents such as the Scriptures, General Conference talks, Media and Music libraries, and a topic called Life Help.

      The Life Help library includes the following topics:  Abuse; Addiction; Adoption; Child Nutrition; Death, Grieving and Loss; Disabilities; Divorce; Education; Employment; Family and Relationships; Finances; Media Safety; Mental and Emotional help; Parenting; Physical Health; Pornography; Preparedness; Pregnant and Single; Prison Ministry; Same-Sex Attraction; Self-Reliance Services; Single Parent Families; Suicide; and Transgender.

      In the past, the Orchard Stake and O7 Ward have focused on self-reliance topics.  New groups for this fall include Emotional Resilience; Starting and Growing My Business; Finding a Better Job; Education for Better Work; and Personal Finance.

      The stake is planning a Friday date night Emotional Resilience Group.  If there is enough interest in other topics, there will be a stake group provided.  More information on this will be provided later.

  • Stake Recommend Interviews -The Stake Presidency is available every Wednesday (except the 3rd Wednesday) at the Stake Center from 6:30-7:30 PM so you can either finish getting your temple recommend in-person by just showing up, or you can make an appointment at: https://stakeinterview.youcanbook.me/

  • A link to the sacrament meeting broadcast is available, upon request, for those who need it. Please contact a member of the Elders Quorum Presidency, Relief Society Presidency, or Bishopric for access to the link.

Gathering Place for Single Adults age 25(ish)-35(ish) is taking place every Thursday night at the Bountiful Orchard Stake Center.  Classes begin at 7PM and dinner is served each week at 8PM.  Come gather and meet new people and be spiritually and physically fed.  The address is 3599 S. Orchard Drive.  Invite your friends and come join us.  There are currently about 75-80 attending each week.  We look forward to seeing you!  See flier and Facebook page.
